Jessica Biel, born on March 3, 1982 in Ely, Minnesota, is an American actress and model. During her early years she took part in a number of small local production as well as print ads in commercials for minor brands. Her professional career as an actress got a boost after she attended Modeling and Talent Conference in Los Angeles where she was offered a contract with a talent agency.
After landing a role on a WB's hit TV series “7th Heaven” and working on it for many years, Jessica was getting increasingly worried that she may get type-cast as her character on the show. She claims that it was the main reason for being declined for a major role in “American Beauty”. She went on to pose semi-nude on the cover of Gear magazine in an attempt to get out of her contract with the show, but the producers said that she would stay until her contract expires despite her outrageous photo shoot.
Once her involvement with “7th Heaven” was over she went on to claim a lead role in “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and despite the movie’s negative critical reviews, it proved to be a commercial success, a situation she would find herself in again after the release of a comedy "Chuck and Larry". She followed up with appearing in “Blade: Trinity”, a sequel to a hit movie “Blade”, landing a lead role in “Stealth”, and making a short appearance in “Cellular”.
